TransportMatchHow TransportMatch works
TransportMatch is a European transport marketplace. Customers describe a shipment once, registered transport companies quote on it, and the platform handles payment, in-app communication, proof of delivery and the carrier's payout.
For customers
1. Post what needs transporting
Choose the category, add the pick-up and delivery address with the country, the preferred date and photos. The driving distance is calculated automatically, so every carrier prices the same route.
2. Compare the quotes
Carriers reply with one all-in price and a short note. You see the company name and CoC number of each carrier and can compare every offer side by side.
3. Accept and pay safely
When you accept a quote you pay through the platform. TransportMatch holds the amount until the goods have been delivered, so the carrier is sure of payment and you are sure the job is done first.
4. Sign for the delivery
On arrival the carrier records a delivery photo and asks you to sign in the app. The signed proof of delivery stays available in your account.
For transport companies
1. Register your transport company
Create a carrier account with your company name and CoC number. Registering, browsing and quoting are free.
2. Find jobs along your route
Filter open jobs by cargo type, city and country, and see the driving distance for each route — ideal for filling empty kilometres and finding return loads.
3. Quote and get confirmed
Send your all-in price with a note. Once the customer accepts and pays, the job shows as paid and ready to drive.
4. Deliver and get paid
Record the delivery photo and signature. The payout is released automatically shortly afterwards, with the service commission already deducted, and you receive a weekly invoice overview of every trip.
Safety and communication
Customers and carriers talk inside the platform about the job itself. Until a quote is accepted, contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses and full company names are hidden in the chat. After acceptance both sides see everything they need to complete the trip. Every delivery is closed with a photo and a signature, which stays available to both parties afterwards.
What it costs
Posting a job, receiving quotes and comparing carriers are free for customers. Carriers pay a service commission only on jobs they actually win; it is withheld from the payout and itemised on the weekly invoice overview.
