Everything you need to know about posting transport jobs, quoting on loads, paying safely and getting paid on time.
For customers: transport wanted
1. Describe what needs transporting
Pick a category — moving, pallet, vehicle, parcel or other — add the pick-up and delivery address, your preferred date and photos. We calculate the driving distance automatically so carriers can price the route accurately.
2. Compare the quotes you receive
Carriers send an all-in price with a short note about how they will handle the job. You see their company name and CoC number, and you can compare every offer side by side before deciding.
3. Accept and pay through the platform
When you accept a quote you pay through our payment provider. We hold the money until the goods are delivered, so the carrier is guaranteed payment and you are guaranteed the job is done first.
4. Sign for the delivery
On arrival the carrier records a delivery photo and asks you to sign in the app. That signed proof of delivery stays available in your account.
For carriers: loads wanted
1. Register your transport company
Create a carrier account with your company name and CoC number. Registration and browsing loads are free — you only pay a commission on jobs you actually win.
2. Find loads along your route
Filter open jobs by cargo type and by city, and see the driving distance for each route. Ideal for filling empty space on trips you are already making and for picking up return loads.
3. Quote and get confirmed
Send your all-in price with a note. If the customer accepts and pays, the job shows as paid and ready to drive — no chasing invoices afterwards.
4. Get paid after delivery
Add the delivery photo and the customer's signature in the app. Your payout is released automatically ten minutes later, with our commission already deducted, and every week you receive an invoice overview of all trips and how they were calculated.
Frequently asked questions
What does TransportMatch cost?
Posting a job and receiving quotes is free for customers. Carriers pay a service commission on accepted jobs only: 5% below €750 and 7% above that. It is deducted from the payout, so there is nothing to transfer separately.
When is the carrier paid?
The customer pays when accepting the quote. We hold that amount and release it to the carrier ten minutes after the delivery has been photographed and signed for.
What if something goes wrong during transport?
Carriers transport under their own liability and insurance. Report any damage within 48 hours through the contact page with the delivery photos, and we will mediate between both parties.
Can I use TransportMatch as a private individual?
Yes. Both private individuals and businesses can post jobs. Carriers always register as a company with a CoC number.
Which cargo can I have transported?
House moves, pallets, vehicles, parcels and single items such as furniture. Hazardous goods, live animals and temperature-controlled loads are not supported at the moment.
