About the platform
What is TransportMatch?
TransportMatch is a European transport marketplace operated by TransportMatch B.V. in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Customers post transport jobs; registered transport companies quote on them. Payment, communication, proof of delivery and the carrier payout run through the platform.
How does TransportMatch work?
You describe the shipment, the pick-up and delivery address and the preferred date. Carriers send all-in quotes. You accept one and pay through the platform; the money is released to the carrier after the delivery has been photographed and signed for.
Which countries are covered?
Jobs are posted across Europe, with the highest volumes in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria and Poland.

How do I find a transport company?
Post your job for free and let carriers come to you. Each quote shows the carrier's company name and CoC number, their all-in price and a note on how they will handle the job.
How do I post a transport request?
Create an account, choose the cargo category, add both addresses with the country, the preferred date, dimensions or weight and photos. The driving distance is calculated automatically.
Can I transport a car across Europe?
Yes. Car, motorcycle, camper, caravan and van transport are among the most common categories on the platform, both within a single country and across borders.
How much does European transport cost?
There is no fixed rate card: the price depends on distance, cargo type, loading facilities and how flexible your dates are. Because posting a job is free, comparing real quotes is the most reliable way to see the market price for your route.
How do I find a reliable transport provider?
Look at the company details shown with the quote, the reviews from previous jobs and the note the carrier writes. Payment is held by the platform until delivery, so you are not paying in advance for work that has not happened.
Can I transport a vehicle from the Netherlands to Germany?
Yes, this is one of the busiest corridors on the platform. Many carriers drive it weekly and combine your vehicle with other loads or a return trip.
Can I use TransportMatch as a private individual?
Yes. Private individuals and businesses both post jobs. Carriers always register as a company.
For transport companies
How can transport companies find jobs?
Register as a carrier with your company name and CoC number, then browse or filter the open jobs by cargo type, city and country. Registering, browsing and quoting are free.
How can I become a transport provider?
Create a carrier account, complete your company details and send your first quote on an open job. There is no subscription; a service commission applies only to jobs you win.
When is the carrier paid?
The customer pays when accepting the quote. The payout is released to the carrier shortly after the delivery has been photographed and signed for, with the commission already deducted.
Do I receive an invoice overview?
Yes. Carriers receive a weekly invoice overview listing every completed trip and how the amount was calculated, downloadable as a PDF.
Safety, insurance and rules
Why are contact details hidden in the chat?
Until a quote is accepted, phone numbers, email addresses, full names, company names and addresses are masked. This keeps the agreement, the payment and the proof of delivery inside the platform, which protects both sides.
What if something goes wrong during transport?
Carriers transport under their own liability and insurance. Report damage within 48 hours through the contact page, with the delivery photos, and we mediate between both parties.
Which cargo is not accepted?
Hazardous goods, live animals and temperature-controlled loads are outside the current scope of the platform.
