About TransportMatch

TransportMatch is a European transport marketplace. Customers — private individuals and businesses — post a transport job; registered transport companies quote on it. The platform handles payment, communication, proof of delivery and the carrier's payout.

Why the platform exists

A large share of the trucks and vans on European roads drive at least one leg of every trip empty or half full. At the same time, people and companies struggle to find a reliable carrier for a single car, a few pallets or a house move to another country. TransportMatch puts both sides in one place so a shipment finds transport that is already heading that way.

How carriers are checked

Carriers register as a company and state their company name and CoC number, which customers see with every quote. Transport is carried out under the carrier's own liability and insurance. Each completed job can be reviewed by both sides, and the delivery photo and signature are stored with the job.

Where we operate

Jobs are posted across Europe, with most activity in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria and Poland. The platform language is English so shippers and carriers from different countries can work together on the same job.
